Job Summary:

Performs professional accounting and administrative work which assists in maintaining the organization accounting functions and responsibilities carrying out the details of work procedures and methods. Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare journal entries, reconciliations, reports and produce audit data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recording, organizing, and analyzing financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts.
  • Conducting internal reviews, examining financial records for discrepancies, and evaluating financial operations.
  • Ensure that financial operations and reports comply with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards like GAAP.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts and document transactions.
  • Provides accounting support for Finance team.
  • Promotes effective working relations and work effectively as part of a team to facilitate the organization’s ability to meet its goals and objectives.
  • Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within specified time frames, as part of the organization’s overall mission.
  • Responsibly follows the Clinic Exposure Control Plans/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens.
  • Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
  • Proficient in standard software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related degree.
  • 1-3 years professional accounting experience, prefer healthcare experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NetSuite
