Position Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

Reports to: Vice President, Tech Solutions

Department: Tech Solutions

Location: 86 Summit Ave; in-office position

Classification: Full-time, Exempt

Summary / Job Objective: Simplicity Group is looking for a talented, energetic, and team-oriented Sr. Full Stack Developer to help build the industry’s leading platforms. This role will be responsible for building new web experiences, including sophisticated eApps, compelling agent websites, and platforms that help increase sales and reduce operational costs. We also create and integrate with API's for automated underwriting, quoting, CRM, and other functions.

Essential Job Functions: The primary focus of this position will be coding in Angular/Vue/Redux, Laravel/PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bootstrap/Tailwind and other frameworks. The senior developer must be able to work or partner on all aspects of a project including system design/architecture, requirement gathering/refinement, project planning/scheduling, CI/CD, and Azure configurations as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Working with the broader team to develop websites, back-end services, and technology platforms that help our advisors be more successful

· Develop front-end code using Angular/Vue/Redux and related technologies

· Develop back-end code using Laravel/PHP and related technologies

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of full-time web development and/or backend development in support of digital experiences

· Full stack development experience in Angular/Vue/React (Angular preferred) or other related front-end frameworks as well as Laravel/PHP or other related back-end frameworks.

· Experience with modern client-side JS libraries and tooling (Angular preferred)

· Experience with modern databases, preferably MySQL

· Experience building RESTful web services. Some experience with XML and SOAP a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation (based on experience)

• Annual Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 (up to $140,000 for those perfectly qualified)
• This is an Exempt position
• Annual performance bonus target: 10%
