Assistant Construction Project Manager

Experience Required | $110,000 to $130,000 + Fantastic Benefits

Join an established engineering and manufacturing organization supporting critical infrastructure in energy and infrastructure industries. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands construction execution, documentation, and field coordination and wants broader exposure to complex industrial projects.

This position supports project delivery from pre-construction through closeout, working directly with engineering, fabrication, field teams, and clients. The role requires commercial awareness, discipline with documentation, and comfort operating both in the office and on active job sites.

Qualifications
• US Citizenship or Green Card (Permanent Residency)
• 5 or more years of professional experience in industrial construction: e.g. power plants, water treatment plants, data centers, LNG or O&G facilities, etc.
• Working knowledge of ASME, B31.1, AWS, AISC, and OSHA requirements
• Clear, professional well-written and verbal communication
• Experience reviewing construction documents, drawings, and technical specifications
• Willing and able to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international sites

Responsibilities
• Manage and control project documentation to ensure compliance with contract requirements, codes, and specifications
• Act as a primary on-site point of contact and coordinate with owners, contractors, and internal teams
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and support construction activities
• Track schedules, milestones, and deliverables to support on-time execution
• Assist sales and leadership teams with presentations and client-facing materials

Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years of experience in construction, engineering, or industrial project environments
