Gifted Healthcare is seeking a qualified Travel Radiation Therapist for a temporary assignment in Hackettstown, New Jersey. This role is ideal for experienced therapists looking for travel opportunities while gaining exposure to advanced radiation therapy technologies.
As a Travel Radiation Therapist, you will provide professional therapeutic services, ensuring high-quality care for patients in collaboration with healthcare teams. This assignment requires expertise with Varian, True Beam, and Align RT systems. The position is structured for 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts over a 6-week period.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy services to patients following prescribed treatment plans
- Operate and manage Varian, True Beam, and Align RT equipment
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation
- Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and healthcare staff to ensure patient care quality
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Support efficient workflow and patient scheduling within the department
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- At least 1 year of specialty experience for travel assignments
- Proficiency with Varian, True Beam, and Align RT systems
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
