Operations Control Center Duty Manager
Munich Airport NJ LLC is an US-based subsidiary of the German Airport Operator Munich Airport. Munich Airport NJ LLC is responsible for the operations, maintenance and concession management at Terminal A, Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).
We are looking for an:
OCC Duty Manager to join our team as soon as possible. You will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to both maintaining an attractive Five Star rated passenger terminal and the growth of our Terminal Operator company
Your Future Responsibilities
Manage the Integrated Terminal Operations Control Center, consisting of the Terminal Operations Center and the Virtual Apron Control Room
TOC Stakeholder functional coordination (Security Control Center, IT Help Desk, FM Control Center and external stakeholders e.g. Airlines)
Sharing information with Terminal A Stakeholders through verbal communication and electronic channels
Liaison with airlines for the management of daily flight data and resource allocation
Request, approve and distribute regular follow-up reports
Participate and report in shift meetings
Foresee, analyze, plan and coordinate required Terminal A activities
Propose new measures on identified trends (in coordination with the Flight Data Manager)
Prepare and deliver performance assessment reports for management review
IROPS/Event management support
During unexpected events, assume the main command role
Inform MANJ Management about any relevant information related to the operation
Your Education & Training
Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Transportation Management, Engineering or extensive coursework or relevant designation in ICAO, IATA, ACI, IAAE programs OR equivalent in terms of years of experience
3 or more years of experience within a control center and/or 5 years in the aviation sector
Your Skills & Experience
Strong ability to analyze and evaluate workflow processes for efficiency and effectiveness
Skilled in gathering data, generating reports, and identifying or anticipating potential issues
Excellent coordination and communication abilities
Proven focus on stakeholder engagement and relationship-building
Capable of performing well under pressure
Demonstrates tact and diplomacy in challenging interpersonal situations
Extensive experience in airport operations

Regular full-time:
The base salary range for this role is $75k to $85k. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for annual salary increases and bonuses. Employees are eligible for them and eligible dependents to enroll in medical, dental, vision and Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) benefits as of DAY 1 . Employees are also eligible for our 401(k) plan, which includes a company match, after six months of service. The employer also provides life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with NJ and federal law. Our robust time-off policy includes paid time off and 12 paid holidays. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
