As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Jersey City, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a major manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and professional interactions will help to foster a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle in accordance with company policies. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
• Maintain a visible armed presence as required by post requirements to help to deter threats and provide reassurance to those on site.
• Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or irregularities identified during patrols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
