The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a Lil’ Chef Culinary Instructor to teach youth culinary classes in a fun, safe, and structured learning environment. Classes are held on Thursdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in scheduled sessions.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing YMCA located just five miles west of New York City in the waterfront city of Perth Amboy. Since 1912, the Raritan Bay Area YMCA has proudly served the evolving needs of our community. Today, we support more than 6,000 members in the Raritan Bay area through programs and initiatives focused on Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility
Role Summary:
The Lil’ Chef Culinary Instructor will teach children the joys of cooking in fun, hands-on classes that encourage curiosity, nutrition awareness, and creativity while maintaining a safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:

- Promote safe kitchen practices
- Communicate effectively with children and parents

Requirements:- Minimum 18 years of age
- Experience working with youth
- Knowledge of basic cooking and nutrition
- CPR/AED certified or willing to obtain
