The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Mental Health Worker is responsible for facilitating activity groups on inpatient program, maintaining unit safety and assists with daily activity of the patients.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology or related field (preferred) or a Bachelor’s Degree with one year prior relevant work experience interacting with patients and community
• Current BLS certification or successful completion of required training to attain certification within three months of start date
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs

Scheduling Requirements

• Part Time
• Night Shift
• 22.5 hours per week

Essential Functions:

• Assists patients in activities of daily living
• Conducts rounds and records accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Assists in code responses as per policy and in accordance with training
• Assists in securing patient personal belongings
