Machine Operator
Job Location: Andover, NJ
Job Description:- Operation of rubber mixing, molding, and extruding equipment.
- Utilizes various types of shop equipment to manufacture various rubber parts.
- Works from and in accordance with specifications and design criteria including but not limited to verbal instructions, work orders, and drawings.
- Performs quality checks using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments; maintains accurate dimensional tolerances based upon drawings.
- Selects the appropriate tools to maximize efficiency and ensure quality of product.
- Sets up and operates a variety of machines including but not limited to mixing mills, presses, and extruders and ensure the proper utilization of equipment and material
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of measuring tools/gauges
- Understanding of technical drawings
- Ability to stand throughout the day and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic math skills
Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm temp-to-perm
Pay: $20
