About the Company
We are a high-end landscape design-build contractor specializing in complex outdoor spaces—ranging from rooftops and courtyards to terraces and urban developments. Our firm operates at the intersection of design, construction, and innovation, delivering beautiful, functional, and buildable spaces through close coordination with architects, developers, and subcontractors.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for landscaping projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of landscaping materials, construction methods, and market pricing.
Key Responsibilities

- *Project Analysis* : Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop comprehensive cost assessments.
- *Bid Preparation* : Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals to clients, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met.
- *Vendor Relations* : Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and terms.
- *Budget Management* : Work closely with project managers to monitor and control project budgets, providing regular updates and adjustments as needed.
- *Documentation* : Maintain thorough and organized records of all estimates, bids, and project-related financial information.
- *Collaboration* : Coordinate with the design team, project managers, and clients to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
- *Market Research* : Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new products or services that could impact project costs.
Qualifications
7+ years of estimating experience in construction, landscape, or sitework contracting.
Strong background in multi-scope estimating —ideally from a general contractor or landscape firm.
Deep understanding of construction methods for hardscape, softscape, lighting, irrigation, and urban sitework.
Financially savvy: knows how to protect margin, uncover hidden costs, and value-engineer without compromise.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of building systems from the ground up.
Excellent communication skills with designers, clients, subs, and internal teams.
Why Apply
Strategic Impact : You'll lead a vital function that directly influences project success and profitability.
Autonomy & Ownership : Build and scale the estimating department with real authority and input.
Diverse Projects : Work across a variety of premium, design-forward outdoor spaces in urban environments.
Collaborative Culture : Join a company that values transparency, creativity, and problem-solving.
