**What You'll Do:**
+ Carry out armed security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to individuals at the government location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing proper escalation protocols as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment.
+ Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following Allied Universal guidelines and client site requirements.
+ Maintain detailed and timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal policies.
+ Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or law enforcement as the situation requires.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Possess a valid New Jersey RPO Certificate.
+ An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
