Procurement Agent I Location Duluth, MN (East Hillside area) :

: This position is responsible for ensuring all purchase orders are issued and monitored for the organization through closure. Open order management is maintained through product receipt while ensuring data accuracy from requisition through closure upon invoice payment. Requires the ability to transition requisitions to purchase orders, follow-up, and maintain order status with a high level of accuracy across multiple systems. This is a collaborative position and works with many other departments and vendors to ensure orders and needs are addressed and communicated. Works to resolve any open issues but escalates promptly when assistance is needed.

Education Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually key requisitions to purchase orders
• Send purchase orders to vendors
• Obtain and enter purchase order confirmations (manual & EDI)
• Update and maintain purchase order status through product receipt
• Expedite and follow up on past due orders
• Beginner-level data management skills - review and update
• Prompt and appropriate customer service skills
• Promptly escalates for assistance to resolve open issues
• Participate in process development or continuous improvement activities

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years Supply Chain Experience
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite Experience including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (create, open, modify, save, and send). Will consider equivalent tool experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Healthcare Supply Chain Experience and/or product line knowledge
• Data management skills including data analysis, report evaluation and/or creation
• Professional and prompt customer service with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Current certification from Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), Institute for Supply Management (ISM), International Society of Logistics (SOLE), Association for Supply Chain Management (NCMA), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning (IBF), Project Management Institute (PMI), or Institute for Process Excellence (IpX)
