Centerview Health in Toms River, NJ, is looking for Medical Assistants to become part of our team. We have openings for both full-time and part-time positions. While having certification as a medical assistant is a plus, we are willing to provide training for committed individuals who are not certified. Compensation:$16 hourly
Responsibilities:- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer injections or medications as directed by the healthcare provider
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine tests and blood draws
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and follow-up care
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Positive work attitude
Nice to Have:
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Completion of a medical assistant training program
- Certification as a medical assistant is preferred
