We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Absecon, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate cash flow processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, cash applications, and billing functions.
Responsibilities:• Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Apply cash payments to customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage commercial collections activities, including following up on outstanding invoices.
• Perform billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Monitor and report cash activity to maintain updated financial records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address account issues and improve payment processes.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on accounts receivable performance.
• Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounts receivable operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to financial transactions.• At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, cash applications, and collections.
• Proficiency in managing commercial collections processes.
• Strong knowledge of billing functions and cash activity reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with relevant accounting software and tools.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to financial regulations.
