Leasing Agent

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing activities, providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to effectively negotiate and upsell properties to potential tenants.

Responsibilities

· Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting features and amenities.

· Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective tenants through effective customer relationship management.

· Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and professionalism.

· Assist in marketing efforts to promote available properties through various channels.

· Stay informed about local market trends and competitor offerings to effectively negotiate lease terms and pricing during renewals and resident move-ins.

· Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property availability using property management software.

· Provide administrative support as needed, including preparing reports and managing office tasks related to leasing activities.

· Assist the Maintenance Manager with scheduling and coordinating work orders to ensure timely completion of repairs, and following up with residents to ensure satisfaction.

· Support the Property Manager by scheduling vendors and service providers as needed, and assisting with other tasks

· Serve as a liaison with tenants to facilitate smooth communication regarding maintenance, vendor access, and general property concerns to ensure high level of resident satisfaction

· Help manage package deliveries by organizing and notifying residents, and maintaining order in the package area and lobby

· Monitor the cleanliness and presentation of common areas, reporting issues or assisting as needed to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Requirements

· Proven experience in property leasing or a related field is preferred.

· Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and meeting tenant needs.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.

· Ability to negotiate effectively and upsell properties based on tenant needs.

· Proficient in office administration tasks with attention to detail.
