Job Overview:

In collaboration with the Endoscopy Registered Nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist.

Certifications and Licenses Required :

• Current BLS required (American Heart Association)
• Successful completion of all Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation

Scheduling Requirements :

• Full-Time, Day shift (37.5 hours per week)

Essential Functions:

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient’s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.
• In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes, and ensure patients' physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division.
