Swimming Instructor - Dover, NJ

Aquatica Academy is looking for experienced instructors with at least 3 years experience to teach our students how to swim at our new location in Dover, NJ. Instructors with strong backgrounds and reliable attendance will be offered a Sunday 4 hour shift that will expand to 5 days a week.

Job Details:

• Great working environments, work autonomously “no drama”. Our staff retention is excellent.
• Very warm, comfortable pools averaging 86-88 degrees.
• Teaching semi-private and private classes, no large groups.
• Most students are between 3 and 10 years old.
• All training equipment is provided. Additional gear provided upon your request.
• Holidays and snow days are paid when they fall on your regular work schedule.
• Pay scale is $32.50 / hour 1099 with set hours. Pay is not affected by students attendance or class size.
• Pay scale is $37.50 / hour 1099 when substituting.
• Class hours are Sundays 11-3pm, eventually Mondays – Thursdays 4-8pm.
• Rolling schedule for students means you get to develop and stay with your students as they advance levels (no session-style schedules).
• Year-round position (not seasonal).
• We do a standard background check. Copy of your photo ID, SS card and certifications are required. CPR/AED and First Aid must be brought up to date if not already.
