Our client is a well-established manufacturer’s representative firm specializing in HVAC equipment and building system solutions. They partner with leading manufacturers to deliver innovative, energy-efficient products** to engineers, contractors, and building owners. The team prides itself on technical expertise, trusted partnerships, and helping clients design smarter, more efficient facilities.

What they are seeking, an experienced HVAC Sales Manager to lead a talented sales team, drive growth, and expand market presence across New Jersey and New York.

This is a leadership role for a professional who combines strategic sales management, technical HVAC knowledge, and relationship-building skills within the commercial construction community.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the HVAC sales team to achieve revenue goals.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans for growth and new client acquisition.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, contractors, and building owners.
• Provide technical support on system design, equipment selection, and applications.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to align product goals and strategies.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field sought.
• Approximately five (5+) years of HVAC sales experience, ideally with a manufacturer’s rep, or OEM.
• Experience managing a sales team or department.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, controls, and system applications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Relationships with NJ/NY engineers and contractors preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Local travel
