What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and other security-related duties at the front desk.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with location policies.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report unusual activity or concerns through proper channels.
• Support a professional front desk presence in a healthcare location by assisting with directions, answering routine questions, and following emergency response activities when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security experience of 2+ years is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
