Qualifications

Experience:

• 1+ years of related experience of architecture material takeoff and/or glass design software experience (Preferred)

Skills:

• Architectural Plan and Specification reading ability using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Good work ethic, self-starter, team player, and strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task while working on several projects at once
• Results-oriented, organized, and effective time-management skills
• Education: High School Diploma/GED and above

Responsibilities:

• Working with the sales and customer service teams on custom work projects
• Analyzing architectural drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand a given project thoroughly.
• Assessing project details and determining factors of production that will influence the cost of fabrication and labor.
• Utilizing glass design takeoff software of major developers (i.e., CRL, FHC, or GDS) to complete material takeoffs and estimate costs to carry out the scope of work for the project.
• Defining and articulating the project scope of work in quote format for the customer.
• Sending out comprehensive quote requests to suppliers in accordance with takeoffs and specs.
• Building professional relationships with customers and suppliers and following up with submitted quotes until each project is completed.
• Staying up-to-date with new product information and emerging technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Customer Support & Client Services Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
