Attestation & Advisory Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Attestation & Advisory Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a key leadership role where you will work directly with firm partners to deliver exceptional attestation and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local clients. The ideal candidate is a licensed CPA with a passion for mentoring staff, building client relationships, and driving firm growth. Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Manage Engagements: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit, review, and compilation engagements in accordance with GAAP and GAAS.
- Client Advisory: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing insightful advice on accounting, reporting, and internal control matters.
- Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, train, and mentor senior and staff accountants, fostering their professional growth and reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with firm partners and senior leadership on engagement strategy, risk assessment, and business development initiatives.
- Quality Control: Ensure the highest quality standards are met by performing detailed reviews of financial statements, workpapers, and client deliverables.
- Project Management: Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure profitable and timely completion of projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required .
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in a public accounting firm, with a strong focus on attestation services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Exceptional technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
- Proven experience in supervising and developing professional staff.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
