We are seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our medium-sized team of 6-15 professionals. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a variety of automotive issues, including electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, and brake systems. The technician will work independently while also collaborating with a friendly team and reporting directly to the Service Manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed diagnostics on automotive systems using scan tools
- Repair electrical and wiring issues effectively
- Conduct engine, transmission, suspension, and brake repairs
- Utilize diagnostic scan tools and service information proficiently
- Work independently to manage repair tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality service
- Deliver excellent customer service
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and wiring systems
- Experience with engine, transmission, suspension, and brake repairs
- Proficient with diagnostic scan tools and service information
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Extensive experience in automotive diagnostics and electrical systems repair
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining teamwork
