Administrative Assistant

Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide in-person support for individuals completing electronic applications in Newark, New Jersey. In this Contract position, you will play a key role in assisting applicants with navigating online forms while ensuring accuracy and completeness. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to offer basic technical guidance. Responsibilities: - Welcome applicants and clearly explain the steps involved in the application process. - Assist individuals in accessing and accurately completing electronic forms. - Guide users through uploading required documents and filling out all necessary fields. - Provide basic technical support, such as resolving login issues or device navigation. - Confirm that all applications are complete, including required attachments, prior to submission. - Safeguard personal information and uphold strict confidentiality standards. - Communicate patiently and effectively with individuals of varying technical proficiency. - Report system malfunctions or applicant concerns to the appropriate staff members. - Organize the workspace and manage the flow of applicants to ensure efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative support or a related role. - Strong ability to assist individuals with electronic applications and online processes. - Basic technical troubleshooting skills, including password resets and device navigation. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on clarity and patience. - Familiarity with confidentiality protocols and safeguarding sensitive information. - Strong organizational skills to manage workspace and applicant flow effectively. - Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in data entry and administrative tasks.
