**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, or unusual activity.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
+ Observe and report any suspicious, unsafe, or unusual conditions, and communicate findings to appropriate personnel as required.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain authorized access to restricted areas.
+ Support emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
+ Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as part of Allied Universal's procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Hospital employees must provide proof of vaccination as required.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
