Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 pm – 5 pm - 2 days a week 1pm - 9pm
Reports To: Clinical Director / Program Supervisor

Guardian Recovery — Saddle Brook Counseling Center is an outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) behavioral health and substance use treatment program providing evidence-based, individualized care for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Clinician to join our clinical team and provide high-quality therapeutic services within our outpatient and IOP programs. The Licensed Clinician will conduct clinical assessments, deliver individual and group therapy, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support client progress and continuity of care. This role follows a 3 days a week Dayshift - 2 evening shifts a week schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and diagnostic interviews

• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans

• Provide individual therapy, group counseling, and family sessions as clinically appropriate

• Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on relapse prevention, coping skills, emotional regulation, and life skills

• Participate in treatment team meetings, case reviews, and collaborative care planning

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR)

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed

• Ensure compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards

• Support discharge planning and continuity of care

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field

• Active New Jersey licensure required (LCSW, LPC, LCADC, LSW, or LAC)

• Experience in substance use and/or co-occurring mental health treatment preferred

• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and treatment planning skills

• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
