Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Assisted Living

Part Time Evening & Per Diem Shifts Available

Pay between $20-25.50/hour
based on experience and shift differential

Pitman Manor, a UMC Community is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA ) to join our Assisted Living team in Pitman, NJ.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements -

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Jersey
• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months' experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Skilled Nursing preferred
• Experience as a CNA, CMA, or Med Tech preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members

What you will do as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) -

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Perform daily skin checks and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist residents during mealtimes, including serving, clearing, cutting food, and feeding when necessary
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition or behavior
• Take and record vital signs and weights as directed by nursing staff
• Document care in the point-of-care system
• Assist residents with adaptive equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, eyeglasses, dentures, and hearing aids
• Follow restorative nursing practices to help residents maintain independence
• Participate in resident care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Perform assigned treatment tasks under the supervision of licensed nurses or therapists
• Attend required training sessions, staff meetings, and in-service education
