A-Line Staffing is now hiring Fragrance Lab Tech in Princeton, NJ. The Fragrance Lab Tech would be working for a Major Manufacturing Company and has career growth potential.

Schedule

• First Shift: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Flexible start and end time

Pay Range

• $33–$35/hr.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fragrance delivery action standards for air care products are met and provide remediation recommendations to creation teams.
• Test samples for performance and stability while adhering to delivery due dates and applying good laboratory practices.
• Coordinate and plan/schedule cross-functional activities with Perfumers, Fragrance Development Managers, account teams, and sample labs.
• Keep personal workbench clean and organized according to best practices.
• Perform record-keeping, report writing, and data presentation.
• Operate with a team-spirit mindset and support colleagues during high-workload situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree/experience, preferably in a relevant or allied field such as Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Food Science, along with a minimum of 3 years of practical laboratory experience.
• Previous experience in a perfumery or FMCG company strongly preferred, with knowledge of chemistry principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to chart and present data.
• Title and compensation commensurate with experience; Senior Lab Technician requires a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Detail-oriented.
• Passion for problem-solving and ability to plan, manage, and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

A-Line Staffing has an immediate opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Laboratory Technician to join the Technical Development group in the Perfumery & Beauty Division located in Princeton, NJ. As a Laboratory Technician, you will support proactive and client-initiated fragrance and technology development projects in the Air Care category.
