- Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lobby, corridors, restrooms, pool, fitness center and elevators.
- Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machine.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floor.
- Dusts and polishes metalwork.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of back-of-house areas such as storage rooms, linen closets, and housekeeping supply areas.
- Removes trash collected by room attendants.
- Walk all assigned floors at throughout shift to collect trash, soiled linen.
- Assist housekeeping team with stocking supplies, linens, and amenities.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for housekeeping services or additional amenities.
- Support maintenance team with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including parking lots, patio area with grills and walkways.
- Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure guest needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Perform duties of room attendant when necessary.
- Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
