Job Title: Lead Food Production Associate
Pay Rate: $20.00
Schedule: 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts)

1st Shift: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Food Production Associate to support daily operations within a fast-paced food production environment. This position combines hands-on production work with team lead responsibilities, including assisting with workflow coordination, supporting training efforts, monitoring quality standards, and helping ensure production goals are met. The ideal candidate has prior food production experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example in a cold storage setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily production activities including portioning, assembling, packaging, and order fulfillment
• Assist in coordinating workflow to ensure productivity and accuracy targets are achieved
• Support onboarding and training of new associates on processes, safety, and quality standards
• Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to company specifications
• Help enforce food safety, sanitation, and GMP procedures
• Troubleshoot minor production issues and escalate concerns to supervisors as needed
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency across workstations
• Provide hands-on support to the team and serve as a point of contact during the shift
• Track production output and help communicate shift priorities to team members
• Work in a refrigerated environment throughout the shift

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in food production, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environment preferred
• Prior lead, trainer, or team lead experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and production procedures
• Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods
• Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned schedule

• Cold storage facility (refrigerated temperatures)
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production setting
• Repetitive tasks requiring consistency and focus
• Non-slip, closed-toe shoes are required at all times
• Must be comfortable balancing hands-on production work with team support responsibilities
