IT Manager - Precision Manufacturing

About the roleWe're a precision manufacturing company serving aerospace and defense customers, and we're looking for a hands-on IT Manager to own our technology environment end-to-end. This is not a remote or hybrid role - you'll be on the production floor and in the office every day, keeping the systems and hardware that run our operation in peak condition.

What you'll actually do- Maintain and troubleshoot all hardware - workstations, laptops, printers, barcode readers, tablets, and production floor devices

- Manage and push updates to our Epicor ERP system and all endpoints across the facility

- Support our Windows and Linux environments and cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS

- Lead and mentor one junior IT team member handling day-to-day helpdesk

- Coordinate with our third-party cybersecurity and network provider when issues arise

- Keep IT documentation, software licenses, and vendor relationships organized

What we're looking for:The right person is a strong generalist - someone who can walk into a manufacturing environment, quickly diagnose what's wrong with a piece of hardware or an ERP update, and get things running again. You don't need to be a cybersecurity expert. You do need to be unflappable and self-directed.

- Solid experience with hardware maintenance and troubleshooting (printers, scanners, desktops, laptops)

- Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP - this is our primary system

- Comfortable in both Windows and Linux environments

- Familiar with Azure and/or AWS

- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment

- NIST background or familiarity with government compliance frameworks is a plus

Nice to have- Experience in a NADCAP- or AS9100-certified environment

- Background at an aerospace or defense manufacturer

- Exposure to CMMC or ITAR requirements

CompensationBase salary: $130,000 - $150,000
