We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations for a 2-3 month Contract position based in Bridgewater, New Jersey covering a leave of absence.
Staff Accountant Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable (billing, cash application, collections)
- Handle corporate/group invoicing and guest ledger
- Perform daily revenue reconciliations (PMS to GL)
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Prepare/file sales & occupancy tax returns
- Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
Staff Accountant Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in hospitality
- FS PMS experience required
- Strong A/R, GL, and reconciliation skills
- Experience with sales/occupancy tax filings preferred
