Responsibilities:
- Pack labels and ship finished goods according to job cards.
- Communicate any delays with warehouse manager and/or customer service representative (if the manager is not present)
- Unload trucks and disburse product to designated areas.
- Transport packages to customer’s vehicles as needed.
- Keep packaging area and warehouse area clean and accessible for both internal and external customer traffic.
- Pull key customer inventory and prepare those shipments for delivery.
- Create core labels and any other necessary paperwork needed for shipments.
- Obtain move and sort products and/or orders using hand tools and other electronic equipment (forklift/hi-lo)
- Must follow all procedures outlined by QA and upper management.
- Forklift Certified
What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:
- Unload, receive and place incoming inventory items away
- Build, pack, sort, and transport and packages
Things you need to be able to do:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. Push/Pull up to 30 lbs. of force. Ascend and descend a step with a height of 10 in. From the floor.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions and meet deadlines and be able to work under minimal supervision.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to reach bend.
Things that are a plus but not a deal breaker:
- Previous warehouse storage experience
- Pallet jack experience preferred and or stand-up forklift certification
