Location: Richmond, VA / McLean, VA (Onsite - 3 days per week)
Job Type:W2 Only Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced *Java Developer* with strong expertise in *Spring Boot* and *AWS* to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in building and deploying scalable applications in cloud environments. Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably at Capital One (Cap1), is preferred but not mandatory.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using *Java* and *Spring Boot*.
- Deploy and manage applications on *AWS*, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Work onsite in Richmond or McLean 3 days a week, collaborating with team members and stakeholders. *Qualifications:*
- Strong hands-on experience with *Java, **Spring Boot, and **AWS*.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying applications in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
