Kyle Conti Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Paving Equipment Operator to join our heavy civil construction team. We specialize in roadway, highway, and large-scale commercial paving projects. Position Overview

The Paving Equipment Operator is responsible for operating asphalt paving and milling equipment on active job sites while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards. This role requires hands-on experience in heavy highway or municipal paving operations and the ability to work under production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate paving equipment including pavers, milling machines (millers), and rollers
• Execute paving and milling tasks to meet grade, compaction, and smoothness requirements
• Work efficiently with crew members on active roadways and large commercial projects
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Support site operations by operating loaders, excavators, or dump trucks as needed
• Maintain awareness of mix consistency, rolling patterns, and job-site communication
• Follow all company and OSHA safety standards
• Meet production timelines without sacrificing workmanship

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of paving equipment operation in heavy civil or highway construction
• Proven experience operating pavers, millers, or rollers in production environments
• Strong understanding of asphalt paving processes , compaction, and finished surface quality
• Ability to work early mornings, extended hours, and seasonal schedules
• Ability to work safely in high-traffic or active roadway environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on municipal, county, or DOT roadway projects
