We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Closer to join our team and ensure the seamless closing of our loan transactions.
Position Overview: As a Loan Officer Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Loan Officers by managing administrative tasks, liaising with clients, and facilitating loan processing. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in real estate finance, with a direct path to becoming a Loan Officer. You will gain valuable industry experience and mentorship to transition into a full Loan Officer role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Loan Officers in all aspects of the loan origination process, from application to closing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and gathering necessary documentation.
- Prepare and review loan documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with underwriters, processors, and other internal teams to ensure timely loan processing.
- Maintain detailed client records and loan files using our internal systems.
- Research and analyze potential loan opportunities, supporting the team in assessing risk and value.
- Participate in client meetings, offering support in presentations and proposals.
- Stay updated on real estate market trends and lending guidelines.
- Build strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to support business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interest in real estate finance and lending.
- Previous experience in the financial services or real estate industry is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Team player with a desire to learn and grow within the company.
Career Path: This role is designed as a stepping stone to becoming a Loan Officer. As you gain experience and develop your skills, you will have the opportunity to transition into a full Loan Officer position, where you will originate and manage your own loan portfolio.
