🏥 Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Facility:
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (arrive by 6:45 PM)
Contract Length: 10–13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week
Patient Ratio: 5–6:1
Float: Yes, to like units as needed

🔎 Position Overview

The RN is responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of individualized nursing care plans while maintaining evidence-based standards.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and manage non-titratable cardiac drips
• Provide therapeutic nursing interventions
• Monitor and manage patients with varied medical conditions (flu, COVID, cardiac, pulmonary, etc.)
• Document care per standards of practice and patient acuity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Support evidence-based practices and innovation in care delivery

✅ Required Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience required
  • Experience with non-titratable cardiac drips and cardiac medications required
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • BLS (required)
  • ACLS (required)
  • Telemetry certification (required)
• Education:
  • ASN required
  • BSN preferred
