- Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
- The Clinical Navigator RN demonstrates critical thinking, initiative and expertise in oncology.
- He/she will provide care coordination throughout the cancer continuum.
- In additi on, the Clinical Navigator RN is responsible to coordinate and provide survivorship information for ongoing health and wellness according to the Commission on Cancer (CoC) standard requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Associ ate’s Degree in Nursing .
- 2+ years’ experience as an Oncology Registered Nurse .
- Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License .
- Fluency in the English language to function in job environment appropriately .
- Demonstrate knowledge of clinical guidelines (e.g. NCCN, AJCC, CoC) and specialty resources throughout the disease process.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Oncolo gy Certified Nurse.
- M ust be willing to obtain within 1 year of employment .
- Demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organiz ation, knowledge of Epic.
- Bilingual .
