Our client is seeking an Accounting Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Coordinator with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting and invoicing operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.'

Key Responsibilities:

• Process client invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate entries.
• Assist in preparing reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for invoicing.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and respond to vendor or client inquiries.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including invoice reconciliation and account analysis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3–5 years of hands-on accounts payable experience in a corporate or shared services environment.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position based in a professional office environment. Some overtime may be required during peak periods such as month-end and year-end close.
