Junior Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Operations Director to establish and communicate daily and weekly production schedules for field crews.
• Oversee the execution of maintenance and landscaping projects, ensuring quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements are met.
• Monitor and manage the allocation of materials, tools, and equipment for each job, proactively addressing any gaps to avoid delays.
• Implement and maintain equipment maintenance plans to minimize downtime and prepare for seasonal demands.
• Review crew timesheets and ensure accurate record-keeping of daily operations and project milestones.
• Plan and coordinate staff and supplies for snow operations, communicating schedules and plans to the snow team.
• Lead, motivate, and support field crews, providing guidance, feedback, and training on horticulture, pruning, plant health care, irrigation, and maintenance standards.
• Act as a liaison between field teams and the Project Manager, addressing concerns and implementing solutions as needed.
• Conduct daily site visits to monitor quality, address challenges, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize impact on schedules or budgets.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste in production processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plant materials and landscaping techniques, tools, and equipment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
