Salary: $60 - $70 per hour A bit about us: Our client is a growing property management organization strengthening its corporate accounting function to support recent property acquisitions, expanding operations, and long-term team growth. Job Title: Sr. Property Accountant
Job Location: Englewood, NJ - 100% on-site.
Job Type & Length: 5-6 month contract
Pay Rate: $55/hr.-$70/hr.
Start Date: ASAP Must Have:
- 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Experience working with Yardi
- Real Estate/Property Management Accounting experience
- Expertise with Excel (V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Sumifs)
?? Exposure to hands-on corporate property accounting, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, balance sheet prep, and accrual accounting
?? Organization investing in its accounting team to support recent acquisitions and long-term operational growth
?? Lean, collaborative team where you’ll have broad ownership, visible impact, and the chance to help build processes from the ground up Job Details What You’ll Do ? Manage full-cycle GL accounting for assigned real estate properties.
? Prepare and maintain balance sheets and income statements for assigned properties.
? Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis to ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
? Utilize advanced Excel skills to support financial tracking, reconciliations, and reporting. Must Have:
- 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Experience working with Yardi
- Real Estate/Property Management Accounting experience
- Expertise with Excel (V-lookups, Pivot Tables, Sumifs)
