What you’ll be doing...
As an individual contributor within the Verizon Business Group, you will be pivotal in driving sales growth by supporting, influencing, and strategically partnering with external partners, within the Outbound Telemarketing team in the Alternate Channel Distribution channel. Your primary focus will be to deepen relationships with key stakeholders across the partner organization to strategically enable their team to meet and ideally exceed their wireless sales goals through new customer acquisition. You will be acting as a trusted advisor, managing this strategic partnership with the ultimate goal of driving product adoption and significant revenue growth through their efforts.
You will become the sales subject matter expert, directly supporting the external partner's business. This role is highly resourceful and requires you to proactively identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions to overcome obstacles in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to collaborate with partner leadership and frontline agents, leveraging these relationships to influence their strategies and optimize their performance within the Outbound Telemarketing sales segment. Your ability to build trust and guide this partner's success will be key to achieving business outcomes for our customers, enabling them to operate more efficiently and effectively.
This role involves:
Providing overall sales strategic direction for a Business Outbound Telemarketing sales team.
Providing campaign execution and sales results, aligning on goals, facilitating training, and creating tools to drive results for the partner team.
Partnering closely internally with Sales Operations, Technical Sales, and Implementation teams to improve quality and maximize sales opportunities within the Outbound Telemarketing sales segment.
Call review and calibration, tracking and reporting results and ensuring deliverable deadlines are met. This job will be supporting wireless SMB business sales focusing on FWA and mobility.
Combining call review, data analytics and reporting streams for insights to spark strategies and creative approaches for the partner.
Generating compelling approaches for showcasing impactful sales behaviors to help build consensus around enhancing their sales quality.

You are a results-driven individual with a proven ability to influence and guide external partners to achieve success. You excel at cultivating positive and productive relationships, and you possess the keen business acumen necessary to deeply understand and address the unique challenges in the Outbound Telemarketing sales motion Your ability to build trust and act as an influencer at all levels is critical.
You are a quick thinker, have strong interpersonal skills, and communicate effectively, capable of presenting findings and implications up to the board level.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of sales-related work experience.
Experience influencing an external team to drive sales results.
Willingness to travel to support the partner.
Strong people skills for influencing, negotiating, and conflict resolution, with the demonstrated ability to build trust and act as an influencer at all levels.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience in SMB business sales.
Capability to drive positive results in a partner-led environment.
Experience in a call center environment.
Project management experience, assisting with project planning and providing operational support for program delivery.
Experience tracking and reporting key business metrics to leadership.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $68,500.00 - $131,000.00. The annual salary range for the Colorado location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $75,500.00 - $131,000.00. The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $75,500.00 - $131,000.00.
