TAX ACCOUNTANT / CPA
Steven Lissner & Company, LLC, a dynamic, expanding CPA firm located in Morris County, NJ, seeks a highly qualified tax accountant with 10+ years of experience to manage the tax and financial needs of our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare corporate, partnership and individual tax returns
- Work with accounting reports and financial statements
- Interact with clients and develop professional relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting
- 10+ years of experience in accounting operations and principles
- Technical tax knowledge with tax controversy issues as well as audit and attest experience desired
- Trust, estate and gift tax returns and planning experience
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization, time-management, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with CCH Access software required (QuickBooks experience a plus)
- Relevant tax preparation certification or licensing (CPA license preferred)
