The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Assembles supplies and equipment needed in all procedure areas. Manages inventory, ordering, and stocking of anesthesia supplies. Prepares medications, intravenous solutions, and transducers. Assists in the transportation of patients, induction of anesthesia and introduction of lines, and performs output tests under the supervision of the anesthesiologist. Cleans anesthesia equipment daily, and calibrates machinery. Acts as a liaison between Physician, Anesthesia Coordinator and OR Director. Attends pertinent in-service programs.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to type medical documents accurately and efficiently.
• BLS Healthcare Provider (AHA) certification required.
• Basic knowledge of aseptic techniques and hospital supplies.
• Anesthesia certification required.
• Successful completion of Anesthesia Technician programs.
