Location: Summit, NJ

Compensation: Base Pay + Commission + Monthly Bonuses

Smythe Volvo is seeking a polished, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing team. As a key part of our service department, the Service Advisor acts as the bridge between customers and technicians—ensuring a premium experience from check-in to delivery.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, personable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and schedule service appointments

• Clearly explain recommended maintenance and repair needs

• Generate accurate repair orders and estimates

• Coordinate with technicians and keep customers informed on status

• Upsell additional services based on vehicle needs and manufacturer recommendations

• Ensure high customer satisfaction and follow up after service

• Maintain strong CSI scores and adhere to dealership standards

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor (preferred, not required)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Working knowledge of DMS systems (CDK, Reynolds, etc.) is a plus

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Ability to handle high volume while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
