Human Capital Regional People Partner
Job Description
Job Description
Regional People Partner – Multi-Site Retail | $80,000–$100,000 + Bonus Posted on behalf of a client of Zero Hiring
About the Opportunity
Our client is one of the largest retailers in the United States. They are seeking a strategic, field-facing Regional People Partner to drive team performance, engagement, and retention across a fleet of stores spanning New York, New Jersey, Connecticut
This is a people-first role that bridges strategy and execution — building strong relationships with store and regional leadership, translating business needs into actionable people initiatives, and ensuring those initiatives are effectively implemented and sustained in the field.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $80,000–$100,000 depending on qualifications and experience
- Company bonus programme: up to 10% based on personal and company performance
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off, holiday pay, and a paid birthday day off
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance from $25/week
- Referral bonuses per successful hire
The Role
Working in close partnership with the central People Operations function, you will focus on influencing outcomes rather than administering HR processes. Your core responsibilities will span:
- Strategic partnership with regional and store leadership to align people strategies with business goals
- Owning engagement and culture health across assigned stores through consistent in-field presence
- Coaching leaders on team performance, engagement, and retention
- Analysing engagement survey data and people metrics to identify trends and drive targeted action plans
- Supporting performance enablement through coaching, feedback, and development initiatives
- Collaborating with the Training team to deploy learning solutions that close performance gaps
- Acting as a liaison between store teams and central People Operations
- Driving awareness and participation in company-wide team member engagement programmes
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR role
- Experience supporting multi-site operations, ideally in retail or a distributed workforce environment
- Demonstrated success across employee relations, engagement strategy, performance management, and workforce analytics
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategy to operational goals
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance standards
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organisational Development, or related field preferred
Schedule
Monday–Friday with regular regional travel across the store fleet for store visits, leadership coaching, and engagement initiatives.
Interested?
If you're a strategic HR professional who thrives in the field and is passionate about building high-performing, engaged teams, we'd love to hear from you. Please apply through Zero Hiring — all applications are handled in strict confidence.
