Responsibilities

• Lead engaging Ninja Warrior obstacle course classes for children ages 3-12, ensuring safety and fun at all times
• Demonstrate proper techniques for climbing, jumping, balancing, and other agility-based skills to participants of varying experience levels
• Develop customized training plans that cater to individual skill levels while encouraging progress and confidence
• Maintain a safe environment by enforcing safety rules, conducting equipment inspections, and supervising all activities
• Foster a positive atmosphere that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth among participants
• Collaborate with fellow instructors to plan special events, competitions, or themed challenges that enhance the program experience
• Manage behavior effectively by applying behavior management strategies to ensure respectful and focused participation

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sports coaching, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), swimming, climbing, or related physical activities
• Lifeguard certification or experience is highly desirable to ensure safety during water-related activities or emergencies
• Strong background in teaching physical education or working with children in a childcare or school setting
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to motivate and guide students positively
• Familiarity with fitness disciplines like cheerleading, basketball, or health club environments is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to instruct diverse age groups effectively
• Passion for promoting health, fitness, and active lifestyles through engaging instruction
• Applicants must be 16 years or older
