Kennel Attendant
Kennel Technician (Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available)
Location: Camp Bow Wow Rockaway - Rockaway, New Jersey
- Supervise and ensure the safety, cleanliness, and happiness of our doggie day campers.
- Engage with dogs, providing stimulation and attention while standing for extended periods (3-4 hours).
- Handle and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays, with opportunities for holiday flexibility if you've previously worked a holiday shift.
- Prioritize dog safety and provide exceptional care in a clean environment.
- Perform cleaning duties, including waste removal and ensuring dogs are groomed and tidy.
- Continuously monitor play yards to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all dogs.
Requirements:
- Must be a team player, adaptable to changes, and able to maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
- Punctuality, hard work, and attention to detail are essential.
- Prior experience in dog care or ownership is preferred.
- Availability throughout the year is highly desirable.
- Open to constructive feedback and committed to enhancing the customer experience.
- Must have a genuine love for dogs and a strong commitment to their safety.
Job Type:
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.
Benefits:
- Starting in 2024, full-time employees will be eligible for a comprehensive health benefits program.
Compensation:
- $15.49 to $16.00 per hour, based on experience.
