Assistant Teacher / Childcare Aide

Position Details

• Job Title: Assistant Teacher / Childcare Aide
• Location: Lightbridge Academy of Eatontown
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

What You’ll Do

• Support teachers in infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-K classrooms as needed.
• Assist with classroom routines, playtime, art projects, snack time, and end-of-day cleanup.
• Step in as a classroom aide or teacher assistant to help maintain ratios and ensure smooth transitions.
• Engage with children in a loving, patient, and encouraging way.
• Follow daily routines while maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment .
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team and center leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• A positive and caring personality who loves children of all ages.
• Previous experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education preferred (but not required).
• Ability to adapt to different classrooms and support various age groups.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability.
• Must be at least 18 years old and meet NJ state childcare requirements.
