We are seeking a Data Scientist to support the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced analytics for a large-scale financial integrity monitoring program. This role will work closely with business and technology teams to develop data-driven solutions that enhance risk identification processes.

- Develop and maintain risk scoring models for transactions and counterparties using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Conduct network analysis and anomaly detection to identify suspicious transaction patterns and emerging risks.
- Apply natural language processing techniques to extract insights from unstructured data (e.g., RFI documents, analyst notes).
- Serve as a critical bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring that strategic objectives are translated into scalable, data-driven technology solutions that meet compliance, performance, and usability requirements.
- Design analytics to support workflow optimization, SLA monitoring, and QA sampling.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for operational KPIs, risk trends, and escalation patterns.
- Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
- 5+ years in data science or analytics roles, preferably in financial services, compliance, or risk management.
- Proficiency in data and analytics tools and applications, including SQL, Tableau, Azure/Databricks.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, networkx) and familiarity with machine learning, anomaly detection, and graph/network analytics.
- Experience in financial-crimes compliance (FCC), including familiarity with AML, sanctions screening, KYC, and transaction monitoring processes. The ideal candidate understands the key components and operational workflows of strong FCC programs.
- Experience with data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Knowledge of case management systems and workflow automation preferred.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and API integrations preferred.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical findings into actionable business insights preferred.
