Receiving and Inventory Specialist

Production Team in New Providence, New Jersey as a Receiving and Inventory Specialist @ Anova.
What youll do:
- Unload/unpack, validate and record new inventory deliveries made on site.
- Safely store delivered items in inventory while maintaining
accurate
item, quantity, location & date
records and identification labels.
- Work with returned material department to validate and record returned merchandise deliveries.
- Work with shipping department leader to:
- Safely pack, palletize and manually shrink wrap shipments as needed.
- Coordinate with customers and shipping companies on domestic and international shipments.
- Complete all shipping documentation per regulation.
- Complete final inspection on fulfillment of all orders.
- Work as needed in other areas of production when required to meet team objectives.
- 1st Shift 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
What youll need to succeed:
- Relevant work experience (ideally 2+ years) within shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory control, quality assurance.
- Excellent understanding of shipping standards both domestically and internationally.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, including a hands-on, rollup the sleeves attitude to juggle multiple projects and workstreams in a fast-paced team environment
- Proficiency with FedEx and UPS shipping tools as well as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and ERP (Epicor) tools
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. independently
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently and within constraints while adhering to all company procedures and safety guidelines.
- High School diploma or GED required
